Lockyers have raised an amazing £1043 to support our 2 chosen charities in 2021. In the summer, several members of the team ran 10K in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, followed up with a cake sale (very popular with neighbouring businesses on our office park!) to raise funds for the charity The Well Project in October.

Hearing dogs make an enormous difference to life for deaf people. In addition to alerting deaf people to important and life-saving sounds these amazing dogs can also help combat isolation, stress and loneliness which are critical issues in the current state of our world.

The Well Project

The Well Project is based in Normanton and offers “Somewhere to go, something to do, someone to talk to”. The charity organises lots of projects to benefit the local community including a Food Bank, Youth, Gardening and Craft Clubs, Walking Football plus a shopping and phone befriending service.
