Another first for Lockyers. This time the Lockyers team decided to set their sights even higher than usual and go into space! The “Lockyers in Space” mission reached 100,000ft, faced temperatures as low as -55°C and jet stream winds before landing safely 4 hours later .

Not only are Lockyers the first broker in space, the company was the first insurance broker to be awarded both Commercial Lines Broker of the Year AND Independent Broker of the Year at the prestigious Insurance Times Awards in 2016. The awards “celebrate the very best of customer-focused firms” in the insurance industry.
